Just been sent a message by friend out in Rome. Apparently Ravel Morrison is out shopping surrounded by 20 of his little gangster mates.

I never know if I should feel sorry for Alex V or not. So misguided but seems to enjoy it. Weird.

Fat Sam knows fuck all about RAZZA's reasons for staying in Manchester back then. Fat Sam is not a mind reader. So the statement is a lie.

>>> Any ideas how you would handle him Alex?

I'm bored of discussing it on here. He had potential, and the episode with Allardyce was pretty weird, and that's all there is to it.

Ferguson
"A brilliant footballer. Brilliant ability. Top class ability. Needs to get away from Manchester and start a new life"
Allardyce “It’s not that he has to impress me as a footballer, we know about his talent. It’s about playing the talent and himself to a disciplined life in general, is what needs to happen with Rav. If that happens we’d want him here.”
Redknapp
If Morrison had played consistently at his best, he might have gone to the World Cup; on his bad days you wouldn’t have put him in our reserve team.

Myth there is no myth here, three managers who couldn't get the best out of him over a reasonable period.
Any ideas how you would handle him Alex?

Everyone calls him fucking thick but think hes the one laughing

Getting paid thousands a week to have a kick around at training a few gym sessions and watch a game of football with the best seats in the stadium

Sorted

Ravel Morrisson's meaningful contributions to WHU. Probably 4 minutes

Time debated on WHO? 4 years.

"Alessandro Diamanti in Italy" is a more deserving thread.

Mainly, as far as I can tell, by those who only want to criticise him.

"Mammoth long word"?

Not got much past "See Spot run" I guess.

I tutor if you need help. Honestly.

Re: Ravel Morrison in Italy
I don't think he's been mythologised at all. It's just just a fairly typical human thing of wanting to see talent fulfilled. It's always a shame when it isn't. The identity of those whom basic humanity is beyond is of little surprise or consequence

"The way allardyce handled him is neither here nor tgere"

You want to tell yourself that, fine.

He came at a dark time at the club for many but if you look at the how meagre what he actually accomplished was, it is amazing that he has been mythologised the way he was. In my opinion. Huge talent (one part of being a succesfull footballer) sure but actually showing it on the pitch with any consistency, very much overblown in many memories. Again in my opinion.

But again wish him well, as I do you, stewie, you little scamp. Night.

For the record, I'd have him playing with Lanzini and Payet tomorrow.

Even looks sexy typing it!

He gets a lot of slack because he was an inordinately talented kid who for whatever reason has never fulfilled it. The way allardyce handled him is neither here nor tgere

Re: Ravel Morrison in Italy
Who compared them? You seem to be struggling. You give an example of a player who isn't absolved, I give you an example of one who is. Is that not allowed in your tiny little mind?

And I'll quite happily 'compare' the severity of their actions, because there's absolutely no contest. So perhaps you could explain why you have such a massive problem with morrison, to the extent that you seek out a thread that hasn't been touched in a month just to have a pointless and irrelevant dig.

I think we all know the answer.

Compare the number of amazing moments Di Canio had to those of Morrison.

I have a lot more memories of being at Upton Park and seeing Morrison being decent or worse than I do of him doing something amazing.

I think he gets a lot of slack for some because he is a stick to beat the club and manager at the time with.

To compare Morrison to PDC is risible.

What a gay set of posts.

Enjoy checking his Twitter feed.

stewie griffin 7:46 Thu Feb 4
Re: Ravel Morrison in Italy
What absolves him from abuse?

Same thing as most players, I'd imagine. Just last week there was a thread about paolo di canio. A man who went awol for an extended period during a relegation battle, fell out with manager, board and all his team mates, who believed he was leaking stories to newspapers from within the club, and then fucked off to Charlton athletic as soon as he could. The overwhelming verdict on that thread was that he's a legend of the club, yet his actions were far more damaging to the club than anything morrison ever did.

He's 'absolved' because of the pleasure he gave people when he was here.
The pleasure RAV gave people was fleeting, but those that experienced it remember it. And contrary to the fat cunts opinion, the supporters of this club know a good footballer when they see one.
